A serial rapist who claimed his need for sex was to help a “medical condition” has been jailed for 14 years.

Marcin Wasilewski was sentenced for a campaign of abuse which spanned between 2009 and 2018.

The crimes against two victims occurred in Paisley, Renfrewshire.

Jurors heard how he pretended to one that he had a “medical condition that was alleviated by sexual intercourse”.

The 43 year-old was also violent with this woman and threatened her.

He raped the victim as she sobbed while ignoring her pleas for him to stop.

Wasilewski also preyed on her while she was asleep.

The earlier woman also suffered a similar ordeal.

Wasilewski told her it was her “duty” to have sex with him.

He also hid cameras under covers and inside wardrobe to capture sexual contact with the woman as well as took photos of her in “various states of undress” when she was asleep.

Wasilewski was convicted of a total of ten charges including repeatedly raping both women.

He appeared at at the High Court in Glasgow for sentencing on Tuesday, May 20.

As well as the jail term, judge Lord Armstrong also ordered that the attacker be supervised for a further five years on his release.

He was put on the sex offenders list indefinitely.
