Section of M8 closed after early morning crash 

A section of the M8 has been closed after a crash in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Emergency crews remain in attendance after the crash on the motorway westbound, near to Shawhead, at around 5.20am.

Junction 7A has been closed.

Drivers are being asked to follow diversions or take an alternative route.
