STV NewsA section of a street in Glasgow has been cordoned off as police officers stand guard.
The nature of the incident remains unclear; however, a stretch of Sauchiehall Street near the Garage nightclub was taped off.
Images of the scene show numbered yellow markers leading from the front of a takeaway shop along the paved area.
STV NewsIt is not clear if there were any injuries. STV News understands that a cordon was in place during the early hours.
The tape has been removed and the area reopened.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
