A second suspect has been charged in connection with the murder of a Motherwell teen in Northampton.
Khadeem Parris, 16, died as a result of a stab wound at an address in Adnitt Road in the Abington area just before 7pm on July 7.
Officers arrested a 20-year-old Man from Motherwell in connection with the incident on Thursday.
Samwari Solomon has since been charged and appeared before Northampton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday. He was remanded into custody and will appear at Northampton Crown Court on Monday.
Another man, Fuad Mohamud, appeared before Northampton Magistrates’ Court on July 14, charged with the murder of Khadeem.
The 21-year-old, of no fixed address, appeared at Northampton Crown Court the following day, where he was further remanded in custody until his next hearing on August 17.
A 19-year-old man, a 56-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender remain on police bail, pending further inquiries.
