Second person charged over alleged attempted murder after man hit by car

A second person has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged attempted murder in Clydebank.

Detectives confirmed the arrest of a 25-year-old woman following the incident on Tuesday, March 15 earlier this year.

Police were called to Graham Avenue in the town after a 31-year-old man was hit by a car.

An appeal was launched for information from witnesses.

The 25-year-old woman is due to appear before Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Friday.

A 30-year-old man has previously been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He appeared at the same court on Wednesday, November 23.

Officers said their investigations into the incident are continuing.
