Second arrest made after death of man found ‘seriously injured’ in Glenisla Street flat in Glasgow Police Scotland

A second person has been arrested in connection with the death of a man in Glasgow.

Emergency services rushed to Tollcross in the east end of the city shortly after 5pm on Sunday June 25 following reports of a man with serious injuries.

Stuart Williams, 50, was pronounced dead at the property on Glenisla Street.

A 54-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday July 14.

Police Scotland said that enquiries remain ongoing.

Another man, aged 51, was previously arrested in connection with the death and was released pending further enquiries.
