A second arrest has been made in connection with a fatal shooting in a South Lanarkshire street.
Graham Williamson, 26, was in his back garden in Caithness Street, Blantyre, when he was shot around 5pm on Monday, August 17.
Mr Williamson was said to have managed to make his way back onto the street, where he was assisted by members of the public until an ambulance arrived.
He was taken to University Hospital Wishaw, but died a short time later.
Last week, Derek Felvus, 23, of Hamilton, was arrested and charged with murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
Police have now confirmed a second man, who is 24 years old, has been arrested in connection with Mr Williamson’s death.
Officers said enquiries are ongoing.
