Police are continuing their searches following the “out of character” disappearance of a woman from Ayr.
Anne McNeillie was last seen around 7.30am on Sunday morning in Bellesleyhill Avenue.
Investigations so far have found that she was in the University Avenue and Craigie Road areas of the town around 12.30pm on the same day.
The 58-year-old’s disappearance has been described as “out of character” with her family concerned for her welfare.
Anne is described as around 5ft 7 to 5ft 8, with fair hair and of slim to medium build.
When last seen, she was wearing a short, grey light weight jacket, dark-coloured, patterned jogging bottoms, dark trainers and carrying a plastic bag.
Anyone with information regarding her disappearance is urged to come forward.
Sergeant Terry McEwan said: “Anne was reported missing on Sunday morning and concerns are growing for her welfare.
“Extensive enquiries are being carried out to find her and make sure she is safe and well as not being in touch is out of character.
“Anyone who has seen Anne or knows where she might be is asked to get in touch with us.
“If you can help please call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 1941 of Sunday, June 16, 2024.”
