iStockA teenager who disappeared while on her way to school in South Lanarkshire on Tuesday has been found safe.
Police confirmed on Friday morning that the 15-year-old, from Lanark, who had not been seen since leaving home at around 8am three days ago, had returned home.
Officers have thanked the public for their help.
A statement from the force said: “We can confirm the missing teenager has been found safe and well.
“We’d like to thank you for your support.”
