Police ScotlandA search is underway to locate a schoolgirl who was last seen getting off a bus on Wednesday.
Mackenzie Kean, from Kilwinning, was spotted around 9.50am getting off a Stagecoach service on Kilwinning Road in Irvine.
The 15-year-old is described as around 5ft 2in, with long brown hair. At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a black puffer style jacket, a black jumper, grey jogging bottoms and black and white trainers.
Sergeant Craig Turnbull said: “We need to make sure Mackenzie is safe and well and we are asking the public to get in touch if they have seen her or know where she might be.
“Anyone who can help should contact us via 101, quoting reference number 3590 of Wednesday, February 5, 2025.”
