Police have launched a search for a missing teenager last seen boarding a bus in Glasgow.
Haseeb Rasul, 16, was last seen boarding a FX24 Stagecoach bus set for Glenrothes at Buchanan Bus Station at around 10.40pm on Sunday.
He is described as being around 5ft 7inches tall, with black hair and he was wearing all black clothing, including black trainers and carrying a black Air Jordan school bag when last seen.
A police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace Haseeb Rasul who has been reported missing.
“Haseeb was last seen about 10.40pm on Sunday, 27 August, 2023, boarding the FX24 Stagecoach Bus at Buchanan Street Bus Station within Glasgow City Centre. The destination was Glenrothes.
“Haseeb is 16-years-old and is around 5ft. 7inches tall, with black hair. When last seen, he was wearing all black clothing, including black trainers and carrying a black Air Jordan school bag.
“Anyone who may have seen Haseeb since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 1028.”
