A search has been launched for a 13-year-old girl who has been missing overnight.
Lara Tomescu was last seen on Loudon Street, Strathaven, at around 10am on Thursday.
The teenager, who lives in the area, has not been seen since and there are growing concerns for her welfare.
Lara is described as white, 5ft1, of slim build, with blonde hair.
When last seen she was wearing a black puffer jacket, black leggings and boots.
Anyone who may have seen Lara, or who has any information on her whereabouts, has been urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2984 of January 12.
