Images have been released of a man that police hope to trace following the attack on Meadowpark Street, Glasgow.

An appeal has been launched after a man was left seriously injured following an assault and robbery in Glasgow.

Police were called to Meadowpark Street, Dennistoun, after receiving reports of a serious assault and theft at around 1am on Saturday, March 26.

A 24-year-old man was left with serious injuries.

Officers have now released CCTV images of a man they wish to trace in connection with an incident.

He is described as white, with a Glaswegian accent, medium build, approximately 5ft 9in in height, slim build, and was wearing dark clothing.

Detective constable Gill Burns of Shettleston Police Office said: “We’re eager to trace this male as part of our enquiries and urge anyone who recognises him to contact us, or Crimestoppers anonymously as soon as possible.”
