A sprawling estate that has been situated along the Scottish coast for 322 years has gone on sale for almost £10m.
Logan Estate, in Wigtownshire, dates back to 1702 and it’s focus point is the category A-listed Queen Anne style property Logan House.
The sale includes everything someone looking to live like a Scottish Laird would need including an ancient Barony title.
Logan House hosts nine bedrooms, three receptions as well as many other amenities such as grand fireplaces and a curved staircase leading guests to the second floor of the house.
Located within a Regional Scenic Area, the setting and scenery are spectacular, with views of Northern Ireland to the west and the Machars peninsula to the east.
The property is surrounded by gardens that extend to approximately 17 acres of woodland, rhododendrons and azaleas as well as many other plants native to regions throughout the world.
Logan Loch on the estate also provides duck flighting and wildfowling.
The new baron or baroness will also have opportunities for roe buck stalking between April and October.
The current owners, who purchased the house in 2002, have primarily focused on providing driven pheasant shooting to “their established client base”.
The salmon netting rights in Luce Bay off the eastern boundary of the estate are also included in the sale, although they have not been exercised in recent years.
The property is being sold by estate agent Savills for offers over £9.5m.
