Police are searching for two teenage girls believed to be together who may have travelled to Glasgow city centre on Saturday.

15-year-old Kara Williamson from Uddingston and 17-year-old Erin Bunce from Denny were in the city centre area around 7.30pm on Saturday, October 26.

Officers said from there they had travelled to the Grangemouth area and are thought to have travelled back to Glasgow city centre.

Kara is described as white, around 5’5” in height and of slim build with brown hair and is wearing black clothing.

Erin is described as white, around 5ft 6 Inch in height and of slim build with black hair and is wearing black clothing.

Chief Inspector Neil Smith said: “It is completely out of character for Kara and Erin to go missing and we are very concerned for their wellbeing and safety.

“Officers are carrying out searches and enquiries to trace them both as soon as possible to ensure that they are safe and well.

“I urge anyone with any information on their whereabouts to contact 101 quoting incident number 0818 of October 27.”
