Police are searching for a missing man who was last seen with his two dogs, which were later found unattended.

Darren Noble was last seen in the Keir Hardie Hill area of Cumnock around 8.35pm on Wednesday.

The 47-year-old was with his two dogs which were later found near to Dumfries House estate.

Officers say they are becoming increasingly concerned for Darren’s welfare.

He is described as 5ft 9, with a thin build and shaved head. When last seen, he was wearing blue jeans and a black jacket.

Inspector Michael Steven said: “It has now been some time since Darren’s dogs were found without him, and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“If you have seen Darren, or have any information that could help trace him, please contact police on 101, quoting 3960 of June 25, 2025.”
