Police are searching for the driver of a Mercedes after a crash with a motorbike on the M8 in Glasgow left a man in hospital.
Emergency services were called near Junction 13, Provan Interchange, after a White Suzuki 1050 motorbike was in a collision with a black Mercedes at around 9.30pm on Sunday.
The driver of the bike, a 50-year-old, was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been released.
The driver of the car, which would have sustained damage to its drivers side panel, failed to stop.
Police are now appealing for anyone who has information regarding the vehicle, believed to be an A Class or a GLA with a registration year of around 2019, to come forward.
Sergeant Fraser McEwan, West Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for any witnesses with further information as to the identity of the car or driver to come forward.
“Maybe you witnessed the collision or have noticed a vehicle matching the description with such damage since the time of the collision.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 2944 of Sunday, December 21, 2025.
“Alternatively details can be left anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.“
