Man who died following late night crash near Glasgow Airport named

A man who died after the car he was driving crashed and caught fire has been named. 

Police were called to reports of a car on fire around 11.50pm on Houston Road near Glasgow Airport on Saturday March 26 

Emergency services attended, however, Scott Sanderson, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers said enquiries into the crash remain ongoing and are appealing for information.

Sergeant Adnan Alam, of the Glasgow Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with Scott’s family and friends at this difficult time.

“Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash remain ongoing and we continue to urge anyone with information, or possible dashcam footage from the area, to call 101, quoting incident number 4563 of March 26.”
