Scotland fans are giving Boston’s statues a touch of home with traffic cones.
The iconic Duke of Wellington statue in Glasgow city centre isn’t the only monument with a traffic cone on it as Scotland fans took over Massachusetts.
Located on Queen Street, in front of Glasgow’s Gallery of Modern Art, the Duke of Wellington has been adorned with an orange and white traffic cone for most of the last 40 years.
Getty ImagesAnd now Boston’s architecture outside some of the city’s most iconic spots are also wearing cones.
The Arms of Friendship statue at Charlestown Navy Yard, which features a 36ft (11m) long bronze octopus holding up an elephant and a gorilla, among other animals, saw a number of cones placed on it.
A statue of the former mayor of Boston, Kevin White, on Faneuil Hall Square also has one.

Tens of thousands of the Tartan Army descended on Boston last week, with the city praising the atmosphere created by the Scots.
A few were even spotted wearing traffic cone hats as they enjoyed a drink.

Now the Scots, who are top of Group C, face a tough test in the AFCON champions Morocco on Friday evening after they drew 1-1 with Brazil.
