Police are searching for two men after schoolchildren were threatened with a knife and robbed while at a park in Glasgow.
Police were called to Tollcross Park after the incident between the Winter Garden and Children’s Farm around 6pm on Thursday.
Two boys, aged 13 and 14, were approached by the men while they were playing.
The suspects threatened the boys with a knife and demanded the 14-year-old boy hand over his electric scooter before leaving in the direction of Tollcross Road in possession of the scooter.
The men have been described as black, aged in their late teens to early twenties, with English accents.
One of the men had brown hair and was wearing a black Nike jacket, black Lacoste tracksuit bottoms and green Nike 95 trainers.
The other male was wearing a black Berghaus jacket, black trousers and grey trainers.
Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
Constable Lauren Moffat said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or saw the males in the park, to please contact us.
“Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting reference CR/0272141/24.
“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.”
