Google MapsA schoolboy has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a car in Hamilton.
Emergency services were called to Palace Grounds Road around 7.30pm following a crash involving a car and pedestrian.
A 14-year-old boy was taken to Wishaw General Hospital.
Investigations were carried out. However, the crash was not deemed to be the driver’s fault, and no further action was taken.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called to Palace Grounds Road, Hamilton, at 7.30pm on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, after reports of a collision involving a car and pedestrian.
“A 14-year-old male was taken to Wishaw General Hospital.
“Enquiries are complete with no further police action.”
