A teenager who was reported missing in Dumfries and Galloway has been traced.
Kyle Scott was last seen in Dunragit, between Stranraer and Glenluce, at around 10pm on Wednesday.
Police said his disappearance was “extremely worrying” and “out of character” and an appeal was launched to trace him by local officers.
On Thursday, police confirmed the 13-year-old had been traced “safe and well”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson later said: “Missing person Kyle Scott (13) from Dunragit has been traced safe and well. Thanks for sharing our appeal.”
