Schoolboy missing for two days may have travelled to England

Police are appealing to trace a 15-year-old missing for two days from North Ayrshire who may have travelled to England.

Elliot Thornber was last seen at around 12.10pm on Thursday March 21 near to the A737 in Dalry.

He is described as being white, English and 5’11” in height with short brown hair.

When he was last seen, he was wearing a black jacket, blue tracksuit bottoms and was in possession of two red JD Sport bags which may contain changes of clothing.

He may also be in possession of his black Apple iPhone, police said.

Extensive enquiries are underway which have so far revealed that Elliot may have travelled to, or intends to travel to, Cumbria – where he has family and friend links in the Wigton area.

Anyone with any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts is asked to contact Irvine Police Station on the police non-emergency number, 101  quoting incident 1750 of March 21, 2024.
