Young boy taken to hospital following attack outside primary school

A boy was taken to hospital after being attacked outside a school in Glasgow.

The assault happened at around 6.20pm on Sunday on Glen Moriston Road in Darnley.

Following the attack, the 11-year-old was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children where he has since been discharged.

Police have confirmed that enquires into the incident are continuing.

A police spokesperson said: “Enquiries are continuing after a 11-year-old boy was assaulted on Glen Moriston Road, Darnley, Glasgow around 6.20pm on Sunday, June 19, 2022.

“The boy was treated at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow and has since been discharged.”
