Drivers have been warned of “extreme” delays after a rush-hour crash has closed part of the M74.
Traffic Scotland confirmed that the northbound carriageway on the M74 at junction nine just near Glasgow was closed around 8.21am on Thursday.
It said traffic is extremely heavy in the area with delays around 47 minutes.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
