Roads have been closed around the Gallowgate area of Glasgow after a pedestrian was struck by a bus.

Police Scotland were called to Melbourne Street at around 6.35am on Monday after a man was struck by a bus.

Their condition is unknown at this time.

Emergency services remain in attendance and road closures have been put in place at Barrack Street and Bellgrove Street.

Drivers have been asked to use an alternative route at this time.
