The M80 has been closed following a collision on Sunday, causing delays of more than an hour.
The northbound carriageway of the M80 is shut at junction 6 near Cumbernauld following reports of a crash at around 2pm.
Road users have been diverted off the motorway then back onto it at junction 6A.
Emergency services are on the scene.
A post from Traffic Scotland read: “#M80 remains closed northbound at Junction 6 due to a collision.
“Traffic is being diverted off at Junction 6, then back on to the motorway at Junction 6A.
“We currently have delays of 68 minutes on approach to Junction 6.”
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
