A road which gives access to a ferry terminal is closed after a crash between a bus and a car in Dumfries and Galloway.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the A77 at Cairnryan at around 2.20pm on Sunday.
It is unknown if there are any injuries at this stage.
The road is closed in both directions and motorists are urged to avoid the area at this time.
There is currently no access to the Cairnryan Ferry Terminal for southbound traffic.
A police statement read: “The A77 is closed at Cairnryan following a collision involving a bus and a car, which happened around 1.40pm on Sunday, 7 September, 2025.
“Emergency services are at the scene and motorists are urged to avoid the area.”
A Traffic Scotland statement read: “The A77 north of Cairnryan is currently closed in both directions due to a road traffic incident. Access to the ferry terminal is temporarily closed for southbound traffic.
“Northbound traffic remains unaffected and can still access the terminal. Road users should approach with caution and follow the available signed diversion route.”
