Road shut as emergency services rush to scene of crash

A road has been closed and drivers have been urged to find alternative routes after a crash in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Nithsdale Road near to Dumbreck Road on Wednesday at around 4.25pm.

Police confirmed that the road is closed while they remain at the scene.

It is not yet known whether any motorists were harmed in the incident.

Drivers have been advised to avoid the area.

A police spokesperson said: “Around 4.25pm on Wednesday, December 13, police were called to a report of a road crash on Nithsdale Road near to Dumbreck Road.

“Officers are at the scene and the road is closed.”
