Residents have been urged to search sheds and outbuildings for a missing Cumbernauld man with a ‘Karen’ tattoo on his arm.
John Miller was last seen in the Millcroft Road area of the town around 5pm on November 10.
He is described as white, of medium build, 5ft 6ins, with brown hair, brown eyes and has tattoos
At the time of his disappearance the 48-year-old was wearing a blue tracksuit and grey trainers.
John also has links to the east end of Glasgow, Falkirk and is known to fish in the Lochearnhead area. Officers believe he may have travelled to these areas.
Chief Inspector Gareth Brown said: “With the recent drop in temperature, I am asking anyone in the area near Millcroft Road to check any sheds our outbuildings in case John may have sought shelter.
Police Scotland“As time passes, we are growing increasingly concerned for John and want to ensure he is safe and well.
“I am continuing to ask if anyone has seen someone matching John’s description or has information on his whereabouts, please contact police.
“Anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage from around the area of Cumbernauld where he was last seen, please check to see if you have captured anything of relevance which may assist.”
Those with information are urged to contact police on 101 quoting incident 3027 of November 10.
