Residents evacuated after 'chemical incident' at property

Residents in Glasgow have been evacuated after a chemical incident at a property.

Emergency services are in attendance at an incident at a property on Lenzie Terrace in the Springburn area, which was reported around 3.30pm on Sunday.

Nearby properties have been evacuated as a precaution, and the public is asked to avoid the area.

A Police Scotland statement read: “Anyone who requires assistance can approach officers at the scene or call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1991 of May 31, 2026.”
