A rescue operation has been launched at a beauty spot in West Dunbartonshire following reports of a person in the water.
Emergency services were called to Rosneath Bath in Helensburgh around 9.30am on Friday to reports of somone in the water.
A search and rescue operation was subsequently launched.
The status of the attempt or the condition of those involved is unknown at this stage.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A search and rescue operation was launched this morning after police received a report of someone in the water off Rosneath Bay, near Helensburgh.
“Officers were notified around 9.30am this morning.”
