A recycling centre in Glasgow has reopened after the body of a man was found.
Queenslie Recycling Centre was closed on Wednesday morning as police and forensics officers were called to the discovery at around 8.40am.
Police Scotland said a post mortem would be carried out but confirmed the death was not being treated as suspicious.
Glasgow City Council said the recycling centre reopened as normal on Thursday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.40am on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 we were made aware that the body of a man had been discovered at a recycling centre on Easter Queenslie Road, Glasgow.
“A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death which police are not treating as suspicious.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
