A violent sex attacker who raped two women has been jailed for ten years.
Alexander Fleming also hounded another female and preyed on a schoolgirl.
On Monday, the 27 year-old was sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow.
He had earlier pled guilty to raping two of the women, engaging in abusive behaviour with the third as well as uttering sexual remarks to the girl.
As well as the jail-term, Judge Alastair MacFadyen also ordered Fleming to be supervised for further three years on his release.
The crimes occurred between 2015 and 2024 at different locations in Lanarkshire including Bellshill and Larkhall.
Fleming was teenager when he first struck.
He pestered an 11-year-old girl to go for a walk with him before asking her to have sex.
Around three years later, Fleming got to know the first rape victim having met on Facebook.
She went on to recall a time she woke up to find Fleming having sex with her.
Prosecutor Alan Parfery said the victim – who also suffered physical abuse – did not realise what had occurred was rape until she had gone through counselling.
The next woman had got on well with Fleming until his behaviour suddenly changed.
Fleming would repeatedly call her and accuse her of infidelity.
He insisted “no one else would want her” and called her horrible names.
Mr Parfery said: “She considered this affected her self-esteem and made her feel dreadful about herself.”
Fleming also threatened to cut off her dogs’ legs and slit the pets’ throats while she watched.
The woman tried to stop contact with him.
But, he told her: “If you think you are just walking away from me, you have another thing coming.”
The court heard he also threatened to “knock the f*** out of her”, wrongly claiming she had been laughing at him.
There was a further incident when she awoke in 2021 to find Fleming clutching a pillow just inches from her face.
Fleming raped the final woman. He spat on her while ignoring her pleas to stop.
He also choked her as well as leaving her bruised and bleeding.
Sentencing, Judge MacFadyen told Fleming: “You have a history of violence and abusive conduct.
“There is a catalogue of failures to comply with non-custodial disposals.
“You have not been deterred from committing these despicable acts. The public is entitled to be protected from you.”
He was put on the sex offenders list indefinitely as well as banned from contacting the victims.
