Members of the public have been urged to avoid a road in Glasgow on Friday night due to an unsafe building.
A traffic notice from the local authority, issued at around 8.10pm, stated that the Trongate has been shut to all traffic from Glassford Street to Candleriggs.
A structural inspection is being carried out following reports of an unsafe building.
Drivers have been urged to avoid the area.
The Glasgow City Council notice read: “Due to an unsafe building in the Trongate area of Glasgow the following surrounding streets will require closure to carry out inspections: Trongate, Candleriggs, Glassford Street
“Further updates to follow
“Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.”
