Properties in Glasgow were forced to evacuate after a deliberate fire at an aesthetic lip clinic.
Emergency services were called to The House Of Vain on Greenhead Street at around 11.35pm on Sunday.
A number of properties were evacuated as a precaution and there was no reports of any injuries.
The fire is being treated as wilful at this time.
The House of Vain released a statement on their social media page confirming the blaze.
The business said: “Got woke up last night at 1am to police at the door telling me someone’s tried to set fire to the shop.
“Thankfully from what I’ve heard the majority of the damage is to the outside of the shop, it was caught quickly and most damage was caused mostly by the fire men needing to gain entry to the shop to put the fire out.”
The business confirmed clients will be contacted directly about upcoming appointments.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.35pm on Sunday, April 20, 2025, we were called to a report of a fire at a premises on Greenhead Street, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and a number of properties were evacuated as a precaution.
“There are no reported injuries.
“The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.”
