A probe has been launched after a teenager was assaulted by a gang of youths wearing suits in Kilmarnock.
The 15-year-old was in Howard Park, when he was approached by a group of intoxicated teens at around 5pm on Saturday.
The victim was assaulted and suffered bruising to his face and body.
The group have been described as approximately 15 or 16-years-old, all wearing dark suits and one is described as having red hair.
Officers are asking anyone with information on the attack, or anyone who witnessed it, to contact them as soon as possible.
Inspector Iain Farmer of Kilmarnock Police Station said: “This type of behaviour is absolutely unacceptable, and I appeal to the community for their assistance in identifying those responsible.
“The police and partners will continue to work alongside each other to tackle youth disorder within the park.
“Again, I ask that parents/guardians are aware of where their children are and what they are doing. Anti-social behaviour of all forms will be appropriately dealt with.
“Should you have any information to provide please contact 101 and quote incident number 2618 of April 30 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
