A business in Glasgow has been vandalised by pro-Palestinian activists for allegedly supplying services to arms manufacturers.
Protesters from Palestine Action Scotland targeted Castle Precision Engineering in Glasgow’s Southside by covering it in red paint on Monday afternoon.
Members from the group said in a statement that the engineering company works closely with the firm Leonardo, which manufactures and supplies weapons to the Israeli military.
In a statement, Palestine Action Scotland said: “Vital parts are distributed to assembly lines in Scotland to make the planes, drones and weapons that are slaughtering children as you read this.
“By targeting one of their suppliers, Castle Precision Engineering, we are directly responding to calls from Palestine to disrupt the chain of arms from Scotland to Israel.
According to Castle Precision Engineering’s website, the firm offers defence components, including the manufacture of aircraft, radars, missiles, lasers, and torpedoes.
