Police have traced a prisoner who escaped from HMP Castle Huntly near Dundee.
Members of the public had been warned not to approach 33-year-old Martin Jackson, who absconded at about 18.30pm on Wednesday.
He was believed to have connections in Ayr and Cumbria.
Officers confirmed the convict was traced and subsequently arrested on Sunday.
He is due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday.
