Police seized a quantity of drugs after forcing their way into a building in Glasgow during a raid.
Officers forced their way into a building in Fullarton Avenue at around 8.30am on Wednesday, where they seized a quantity of illegal drugs.
Images shared on social media by the Glasgow Northeast force showed officers using an angle grinder to cut through thick metal gates and shutters at the property before entering the building through a window.
The post read: “A Glasgow Northeast Police community team, support unit & proactive executed a misuse of drugs warrant, seizing a quantity of items to be illegal drugs.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.30am on Wednesday, October 26, a drugs warrant was executed at an address in Fullarton Avenue, Glasgow.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
