Police seek man after woman sexually assaulted on train platform

Officers are seeking witnesses after the incident, which occurred at Glasgow Queen Street on Monday, October 2, at around 9pm.

Police are searching for a man after a woman was sexually assaulted on a platform at Glasgow Queen Street station.

British transport officers were called after a man walked up behind a woman and sexually assaulted her on Platform Four, at around 9.05pm on Monday, October 2.

The man in questioned then walked away. He is described as tall, white, with short dark hair and was wearing a black jumper, black trousers, and white trainers.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened to come forward and assist the investigation by calling 0800 40 50 40 or by texting 61016 – with reference 693 of October 2.

Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
