Police are appealing for help to trace a missing man from West Dunbartonshire.

George Walker, 36, was last seen leaving The Burgh Bar in Dumbarton’s High Street at around 12am on Friday, February 25.

“George’s family are extremely worried and just want to know that he is safe.

“We are also becoming increasingly concerned.”

Mr Walker is around 6ft tall, with long brown hair and blue eyes. When last seen he was wearing a jumper with blue, green and white horizontal stripes, a green parka-style jacket, blue jeans and grey trainers.

Inspector Reid added: “Extensive searches and enquiries have been carried out throughout the local area in an effort to trace George.

“If anyone has seen George, or has any information as to his whereabouts, please contact police as a matter of urgency.

“Please think back, have you noticed anyone matching his description?

“If you have, or have any information which could assist with our enquiries, please contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0597 of Tuesday, March 1, 2022.”
