Police looking to trace man after pyrotechnics set off at Celtic match

Officers are investigating an incident of 'culpable and reckless behaviour' during a football match.

Police have released images of a man they believe could help with an investigation into an incident of “culpable and reckless behaviour” at Celtic Park.

Officers are probing the use of pyrotechnics within the stadium during a UEFA Champions League game with Lazio on October 4.

Police Scotland said the man they are looking for is described as white, in his mid-30s, with short dark brown hair.

He was wearing a black T-shirt at the time with the word “Blakely” written on the front.

Constable Aynsley McIntyre, of the Greater Glasgow Football Enquiry Unit, said: “I would urge this man or anyone who has information relating to this incident to make contact with the police.

“Members of the public can contact Police Scotland via the 101 non-emergency telephone number, quoting incident number 2247 of Wednesday, October 4 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
