Google MapsA major road in Dumfries and Galloway has been closed following a two-vehicle crash in the area.
Emergency services were called to the A75 near Newton Stewart just after noon on Saturday to reports of a collision.
As of 2.20pm the road was still closed in both directions.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.20pm on Saturday 2024 officers were called to a two-vehicle collision on the A75, Newton Stewart.
“Emergency services are in attendance.”
