A man who was found dead in a Glasgow close in the early hours of Saturday was murdered, police say.
The 33-year-old was found in a common-close on Knapdale Street, Lambhill at around 2am.
Emergency services attended and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 26-year-old man has since been arrested in connection with the incident.
Officers are now appealing for information as they confirm they are treating the death as murder.
Detective Inspector Peter Crombie, senior investigating officer, said: “I want to reassure the community that we are treating this as an isolated incident.
“I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information surrounding what happened to contact us.”
