Police renew appeal two weeks on from man’s death

Detectives probing the death of a man in Paisley have said two men were seen in the area around the time they believe he was murdered.

Ryan Low, 32, was found dead in his flat in Springbank Road shortly before 12pm on Monday, June 29.

Police revisited the area on Thursday, two weeks on from the date they believe he was killed.

Extensive enquiries revealed the incident likely happened between 4.30am and 6am on Thursday, June 25 – despite his body being discovered days later.

Officers spoke to more than 60 motorists and pedestrians earlier, who may have been in the area at the time, in an attempt to jog their memories.

Detective chief inspector Gillian Grant said: “The response from the public has been very encouraging and information gained today and over the last week or so has established that two men were seen in the Springbank Road area around the time we believe that Ryan was murdered – between 4.30am and 6am on Thursday, June 25.

“I am also still keen to hear from anyone who may have had any contact with Ryan recently or anyone who has any information which might help us in this investigation.”

Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
