CCTV released of man almost six months on from city centre attack

Officers believe that the man in the images may be able to assist in their investigation following an assault in Glasgow.

CCTV images of a man have been released by police almost six months on from an assault in Glasgow city centre.

The incident occurred around 10.45pm on Friday, April 21 on Argyle Street.

Officers believe that the man in the images may be able to assist in their ongoing investigation.

He is described as white, in his early 20s, around 5ft 4in tall with short dark hair. He was wearing white shorts, a dark coloured t-shirt with white sleeves and black rimmed glasses.

Detective Constable Larissa Cooper of Glasgow CID said: “I would urge the man pictured, or anyone who has information relating to him, to make contact with the police.

“If you have any information that can assist with our investigation then please call 101, quoting reference number 4828 of April 21, 2023.

“Alternatively, make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
