Police have issued an appeal after a man was assaulted by a gang of youths in West Dunbartonshire.
The incident took place on Hawthorn Street in Clydebank on Thursday at around 7.30pm.
A 38-year-old man was assaulted by a group of male youths and is being treated in hospital after suffering a serious arm injury.
Police are now looking to trace the group responsible for the attack.
Detective constable Imran Abuzar, of Clydebank CID, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have seen what happened or now those involved to get in touch.
“If you have private CCTV or where driving in the area at the time and have dash-cam footage that might help with our investigation then please call us.”
