Police are investigating a deliberate fire at a house in Glasgow.

Emergency services were alerted to the blaze at the property on Leglen Wood Crescent, Robroyston, at around 9.30am on Monday.

No one was injured as a result of the blaze, and police have now launched an inquiry.

Detective inspector Cheryl Kelly, of Shettleston CID, said: “Thankfully nobody has been injured as a result of this reckless act.

“We are treating the fire as deliberate and are asking anyone with any information to come forward and speak to officers.

“I would ask if you noticed anyone acting suspicious or any suspicious vehicles in the area to get in contact with police.

“I would also appeal to anyone who has possible dashcam or CCTV footage that may be able to assist us with our enquiries.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 0698 of 28 February.”
