© Google Maps 2024Police have launched an investigation after a woman was raped in a property in North Lanarkshire.
Officers were called to the Hamilton Road area of Motherwell at around 7.20pm on Wednesday after receiving reports of a 20-year-old being attacked.
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing at this time.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.20pm on Wednesday, July 31, we received a report of a 20-year-old woman having been seriously sexually assaulted in the Hamilton Road area of Motherwell.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
